I have found I love having this three-dimensional outlet in opposition of my two-dimensional work. However, I hope to incorporate the two mediums more as I have moved into a much larger studio. I want my work to evolve in this new space and grow along with me and the community of which I am even more a part of now.

About the artist

Intrigued by the beauty of the arts since she was young, Lisa Warren chose to pursue a career in Fine Arts. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of South Alabama in 2007 with a Primary Concentration in Oil Painting and a Secondary Concentration in Ceramics. Lisa's oil paintings are conceptional and representational and her B.F.A. Painting Thesis is on permanent display in the Library at Springhill College and is open to the public for viewing.

Over the last couple of years, Lisa has also been working on creating beautiful and functional pottery. In doing so, she has developed a line of locally themed pottery gifts and most of which can be found throughout Downtown and Midtown Mobile. Her work is expanding into new retailers everyday and is available for wholesale orders.

In, 2018, Lisa moved her studio and joined the Central Arts Collective (CAC) at Central Presbyterian in Mobile. The CAC was formed in 2017 and is a working studio home to visual & performing artists who strive to craft community through service and arts cultivation. CAC gives a platform to those who wish to serve others with their creative gifts, and also celebrates the broader creative community along the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Studio visits and commissions are available by appointment only. Please contact her for more information.
